Charles “Chuck” Coburn, 65, of Ligonier, passed away on Aug. 31, 2016 at the Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He was born on May 22, 1951 in Wabash, Indiana to Billy & Doris (Weaver) Coburn. He moved to Syracuse, Indiana where he was a longtime resident and a 1969 graduate of Wawasee High School.

He is survived by his mother, Doris Coburn of Syracuse. One sister, Pamela Warner of Fort Wayne. Three brothers, Steve Coburn of Syracuse, Eric (Yvonne) Coburn of Leesburg, and Clark (Gina) Coburn of Goshen. The mother of his children Lina Federow of Wawaka.  One son , Geoff (Tiffany) Coburn of Elkhart. Two daughters, Allison (Mark) Click of Wawaka, and Michelle (Scott) Burchett of Ligonier.   Nine grandchildren, Preston Coburn, Alyssa (Pat) Coryn, Jenna Coburn, Brianna Fry, Paige Miller, Genesis, Hollis, Anthony, and Leahla Click. One great-grandchild, Skyanne Coryn.

He was preceded by his father, two nephews , Jason Warner and Tyler Coburn and one grandson, Austin Burchett.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016 at the Eastlund Funeral Home.
