Warsaw PD Investigating Racial Slur, Handgun Incident

WARSAW —At approximately 9:42 a.m., on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016,  Warsaw Police Department officers received a complaint from Brandon Johnson, a Fort Wayne resident. 

He alleged while at Phillips 66, 2518 East Center Street, at approximately 9:30 a.m., while outside the business, he was approached by an unknown male subject in a pickup truck who made a racial slur.  The driver of the pickup opened his door and displayed a handgun making another racial slur. 

Johnson retrieved the license plate number from the pickup and left the area driving to a nearby business to contact police.  The suspect vehicle was not immediately located. 

The case is currently under investigation by the Warsaw Police Department Detective Division.
