CLAYPOOL — The Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office has released the names of the victims involved in yesterday’s tragic house explosion near Claypool, Indiana.

Kosciusko County Coroner Anthony Ciriello stated this morning that the fatal victim from yesterday’s residential explosion at the address of 4678 South, County Road 450 West, Claypool, was Kay A. Justis, 68.  The second victim that was located by rescuers has been identified as Larry G. Justis, 67, her husband.  Larry Justis is still listed in critical condition at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Ciriello stated that an autopsy is scheduled for later today at the Northeast Indiana Forensic Center, Fort Wayne, to assist in determination of the cause of death to Kay Justis.  But he also stated that the investigation is still on-going with law enforcement and fire officials, and there is no specific timeline for final determination or conclusion of the incident.
