WINONA LAKE – The Lakeland Christian Academy boys soccer team came up on the short end of a 3-0 final to Bethany Christian Thursday night.

The Bruins tallied all three goals in the opening half en route to the win.

Bethany had an 8-2 edge in shots on goal and a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks in the match.

LCA keeper Cross Williams had seven saves in the contest for the Cougars.

LCA, now 2-2, hosts Victory Christian Academy Friday night at 6 p.m.
