BOURBON – After letting Triton hang around in game one, Rochester clamped down and shut out Triton, 3-0, in volleyball Monday night at the Trojan Trench.

Rochester won 25-20 in the first game, then slowed Triton to the tune of a 25-15, 25-14 finish to hand Triton its first loss of the season.

Hannah Wanemacher led Triton with 14 assists and an ace, Quinn Downing paced the defense with 8 digs and Courtney Jennings added four solo blocks. Nicole Sechrist chipped in seven kills.

Triton falls to 2-1 on the season, but will have little time to absorb as the Trojans will welcome in old pal Bremen Tuesday evening.
