WINAMAC –  Kosciusko County Special Olympics entered two unified teams in a regional golf tournament held Saturday in Winamac at Moss Creek Golf Course.

Matt Bammel and Joe Baranowski (Unified Partner) placed fourth in the ‘C’ flight. Robert Svinarich and John Bonitati (Unified Partner) and placed fourth in the ‘D’ flight. The top three teams in each flight were eligible to advance to the state tournament. Both teams missed tying for third place by one stroke in their respective divisions.

Becky Walls, Kosciusko County Coordinator for Special Olympics Indiana, is preparing local athletes for Flag Football and Corn Toss competitions for the Eunice Kennedy Shiver (EKS) Games to be held in Indianapolis on Sunday, Sept. 11.
