Pauletta “Ann” (Hess) Mays, 75, passed away at Miller’s Merry Manor, Plymouth, on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016.

Ann was born in Rushville on April 25, 1941, to Harold and Lola (Stevens) Hess. She graduated from Connersville High School with the class of 1959.

She worked as a ward clerk for 27 years at the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Plymouth. Ann left her job due to health issues in 1998, after moving from Connersville to Plymouth in 1970.

Ann was a member of the Plymouth Baptist Church and loved her animals.

She is survived by her children: Mark and Beverly Mays, Argos; Lisa Rosas, Plymouth; and Laura and Carmen Arriaga, Plymouth; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren; and her sister: Barbara Campbell, South Bend. Ann was preceded in death by her parents; and brother: Robert Hess.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday, Aug. 22, at the Johnson-Danielson Funeral Home, Plymouth. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1 p.m. with Rev. Doug Dieterly officiating.

Burial will follow in the New Oak Hill Cemetery.
