WARSAW – The Warsaw Community High School cheer program is preparing for a cheer camp this Saturday, Aug. 20, at the WCHS Career Center gym.

The clinic will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with registration starting at 9:30 up to the start of the event. Cost for the cheer camp is $25 per camper.

All students in kindergarten through sixth grade are welcome, with instruction on jumps, cheers, chants, stretching, dance and basic stunting skills. Those attending the camp will be encouraged to participate in the WCHS football game Friday, Aug. 26, against East Noble as part of the sideline cheer.

Campers will also receive a T-shirt to be worn during the game. Those attending the camp are asked to bring a sack lunch, some snacks and drinks will be provided.
