Lynn Miller, 60, Cromwell, passed away peacefully at 5:25 a.m. Aug. 1, 2016, at Parkview Regional Hospital due to diabetic and kidney complications. Lynn was born on Nov. 18, 1955, in Syracuse, N.Y., to Edward and Betty Lou Lawton.

Long known for marching to her own beat of the drum; Lynn was a fighter with a heart of gold. Lynn also enjoyed learning about homeopathic remedies and loved sharing her findings with her friends and family. Lynn also enjoyed helping people, cooking, reading her Bible, spending time with her family and friends and also had a passion for caring for horses and dogs.

Lynn’s surviving children are: Lisa Marqueling, 42, Fort Wayne; and Brian Miller, 38, Syracuse.

A private memorial service will be held at her sons home in Syracuse on Aug. 14.

Midwest Funeral Home and Cremation Society, Fort Wayne, is assisting the family with arrangements.
