WARSAW — The US 30 accident originally reported has turned into a fatality.

At approximately 1:30 p.m. today, Tuesday, Aug. 2, Lutheran EMS, Warsaw Police, the Sheriff’s Department and Warsaw Fire responded to a rollover on US 30 by 200 N. The driver was initially reported to be trapped and the vehicle on fire, however this was not the case.

A helicopter was called to the scene and EMTs administered CPR, however the driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the helicopter was called off. The driver’s name has not been released, pending notification of family.
