SOUTH BEND – South Bend Cubs outfielder Eloy Jimenez has been named the Midwest League’s Player of the Week for the week of July 25-31.

In seven games, the 19-year old outfielder went 15-for-25 (.600) with four doubles, seven runs scored, two home runs and 10 runs batted in.

Jimenez also won the Midwest League player of the week honor May 16-22.

The South Bend Cubs are at Great Lakes tonight at 7:05 p.m.
