NORTH WEBSTER — Indiana conservation officers have called off the search for a possible drowning victim in Webster lake. With a lack of evidence and only one unsure witness, it is unclear if anyone was ever in distress.

Conservation officer divers, with help from Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department, searched the bottom of Lake Webster and found nothing.

ICOs will continue to investigate the report.
