Betty B. Coldren, 89, Brooksville, Fla. (formerly of Warsaw), died Thursday, July 14, 2016.

She was born April 2, 1927 in Fulton to Walter and Zella (Carter) Cook. Betty was a graduate of Fulton High School and married Keith Coldren, Jan. 1, 1994 in North Manchester. She was a cook for Kosciusko Community Hospital and a number of area nursing facilities. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and and Ladies of the Moose Lodge, both in NOrth Manchester. She liked to garden, especially in her immaculate flower gardens. She also enjoyed crocheting and loved her cats. Most of all she was a caring mother who loved her children and grandchildren deeply.

She is survived by her son: Jerry (Tina) Ervin, Milford; her daughter: Linda Hampton-Campbell (Dallas), Brooksville, Fla.; three brothers: James (Dot) Cook, Kimmel; Howard (Carolyn) Cook, Rochester; George Cook, New Haven; four sisters: Barbara Hudson, Claypool; Anette Georg, O’Fallon, Mo.; Ann (Roscoe) Goings, South Whitley; Jane (Gary) Champ, Fulton; 12 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Keith Coldren, March 1, 2002; her brothers: O. Arthur Cook and AJ Cook; and her sisters: Estelle Eads and Phyllis Rautenkranz.

Friends may visit with the family from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Friday, July 22, in Titus Funeral Home in Warsaw. A funeral service will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Johnson presiding. Burial will take place at Oaklawn Cemetery, North Manchester.
