SOUTH BEND — The World Pulse Fest kicks off tonight (Friday). The two-day Christian music festivals is happening at the Compton Ice Arena.

WSBT got the chance to sit down with the woman who won Pulse Fest’s Rising Star competition. She’ll perform the national anthem tonight and one of her original songs, but her journey hasn’t been an easy one.
