WARSAW — Brooke Sasha Espinoza, 525 Sophia Lane, Warsaw, was sentenced on Thursday, July 7 on one count of sexual misconduct with a minor, a level 5 felony.

According to court documents, filed Aug. 16, 2015 Espinoza and Joshua Kats had sexual relationships with a 14-year-old female in April, 2014. Espinoza stated Kats had been contacting the 14-year-old for approximately one year, but she was not aware of the exact age of the juvenile.

Judge David Cates accepted Espinoza’s plea agreement. Espinoza will serve three years in the Indiana Department of Correction and received one day jail-time credit.
