WARSAW — The city of Warsaw Parks and Recreation Department presented another concert in their free series for the summer, Friday, July 8, at Glover Pavilion in Central Park.
The concert started at 6 p.m. with Jennie Devoe, who belted out her own creations, a few classics and even some Led Zeppelin. After Devoe, blues musician Larry Garner took the stage.
The atmosphere was relaxed, even with possible, impending thunderstorms. People reclined in lawn chairs, on the available benches around the park, and even on the ground, some with umbrellas and shade tents.
Their were a variety of food vendors that served barbecue, fish, kettle corn and drinks. There was also a drawing for door prizes.
