BREAKING: Severe Thunderstorm Warning Issued For Kosciusko County

13497936_10154142498177324_2663416430164925403_oKOSCIUSKO — A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until midnight for Kosciusko County.

At 10:56 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Wakarusa, seven miles southeast of Mishawaka. The storm is moving southeast at 25 mph. The storm is expected to reach Nappanee and New Paris around 11:25 p.m., Milford around 11:35 p.m., Syracuse around 11:45 p.m. and North Webster around midnight.

This storm is expected to produce 60 mph wind gusts and quarter-sized hail. Wind damage to roofs, siding and trees is expected along with hail damage to vehicles.

The National Weather Service is advising everyone to move to an interior room or the lowest floor of a building for their safety.
