GOSHEN – The Annual Ginny Nichols Memorial 4-H Fair Golf Outing is planned for Wednesday, August 31, at Maplecrest Country Club.

The morning outing registration will be 7-7:45 a.m. (limited to 12 teams) with the shotgun start (four person Florida scramble) at 8 a.m. The afternoon outing registration will be 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. with the shotgun start (four person Florida scramble) at 1 p.m. Registration deadline is July 13, 2016.

Included in the registration fees are 18 holes of golf with cart, a light lunch, sleeve of golf balls, one Fair admission ticket, snacks/beverages, and prizes.  Jared Frederick, Maplecrest Country Club, will be the PGA Professional host.

Interested players and sponsors can obtain more information by calling Stan Knafel at (574) 831-3421. All proceeds from the golf outing will go to the Elkhart County 4-H program. Support of this outing will allow everyone involved to make a difference in 4-Her’s lives by supporting programs and projects for 4-H youth.

Last year 3,716 youth were involved with projects exhibited at the Elkhart County 4-H Fair.
