Roger and Janet (Jennings) Fisher, 5681 N. 450E, Leesburg, celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Sept. 9.

They were married Sept. 9, 1972, at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, Butler.

The couple have two children: Michelle and spouse Alex Carter, McKinney, Texas; and Chad Fisher, Temecula, Calif. They also have a granddaughter, Megyn Carter.

Roger is employed at INdigital Telecom as a PR specialist, 911 technologies and government relations. Janet is a secretary at North Webster Elementary School.
