The Indiana Department of Transportation has placed lane restrictions on U.S. 6 near the county line of Elkhart and Noble counties. The restrictions are at the small structure over Blue Ditch, between SR 13 and CR 43.

Traffic will be intermittently restricted to one lane in alternating directions, controlled by flaggers, as a temporary runaround is constructed on the north side of U.S. 6.  The runaround will be used during replacement of the Blue Ditch small structure, for which construction is scheduled to begin in spring of 2013.

The intermittent lane restrictions for the runaround construction are expected to be complete by Nov. 22.
