MILFORD — The Indiana Bicentennial Forever stamp bearing a photograph taken near Milford is now available for purchase through the U.S. Postal Service.

The occasion was marked today, Tuesday, June 7, at the Indiana Statehouse during the First-Day-of-Issue Stamp Dedication Ceremony. Former Milford resident Michael Matti was driving through the countryside outside the small town when he stopped to take a photo of a sunset over a cornfield. That image was later the one selected for the Bicentennial stamp.
