Jerry SchuhJerry E. Schuh, 74, Warsaw, died at 7:07 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016, at Vibra Hospital, Fort Wayne, where he was transferred on May 16 from Parkview Regional Medical Center.

He was born May 8, 1942, in Columbia City, a son of Waldo E. and Sarah Ilene (King) Schuh. He attended Columbia City High School.

On June 30, 1960, he entered the United States Army, serving during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged June 29, 1966.

He began working for R.R. Donnelley in 1965 until his retirement in 1999.

Surviving relatives include two daughters: Geri V. (Christopher) Hurd, Warsaw; and Amanda J. (Ryan) Hills, Milford; five grandchildren: Michael Farner; Tyler Humphries; Nathan Horn; Nichole Marval; and Gracelynn Hills; two great-grandchildren: Quentin Humphries; and Anabella Marval; and a brother: John Schuh, Warsaw. His parents; and a brother: Richard W. Schuh preceded him in death.

The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 6, at Smith and Sons Funeral Home, Columbia City. The visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, June 5, at the funeral home. The burial will be in Greenhill Cemetery with military honors provided by the U.S. Army Detail.
