WARSAW — A mobile home fire occurred at Green Acres Mobile Home Park, 1692 CR 200E, Warsaw around 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, June 2. Warsaw Fire, Plain Township Fire, Winona Lake Fire and Lutheran EMS responded the the scene.

At the time of the fire the residents weren’t home. One puppy was left in the trailer and died in the fire. The residents did return to the trailer while officials were still on the scene. Christina Castillo, her cousin Jessica Gonzalez and Gonzalez’s three minors were the residents.

Officials on scene declared that the trailer was a total loss.
