HeadshotNicholas B. “Nick” Thrasher, 35, Ligonier, passed away at 2:48 p.m. on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at North Ridge Village Nursing Home in Albion. He was born on June 9, 1980 in Sturgis to Jeffery A. and Judy L. (Baldwin) Thrasher.

He graduated in 1999 from Westview High School in Topeka and lived most of his life in the Topeka, Ligonier, and Goshen areas. He was formerly employed at Taco Bell in Goshen, Dairy Queen in Goshen and Ligonier, Applebee’s in Goshen, and Stake and Shake in Goshen.

He is survived by his mother: Judy (David Brown) Starbuck, Windsor Ontario, Canada; his sister: Michelle Thrasher, Ligonier; his brother: Michael Olin, Albion; step-mother: Rhonda Thrasher, Ligonier; paternal grandparents: Mary and Lyle Thrasher, Sturgis, Mich.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Memorial services will be at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 3, at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Burial will take place in the Burr Oak Cemetery in Burr Oak, Mich. at a later date.
