COLUMBIA CITY — The Wawasee golf team lost its season finale Thursday evening.

The Warriors traveled to Columbia City and were beaten 148-178 by the host Eagles, one of the region’s best teams.

City was led by four sub-40 scores, Tyler Green (33), Spencer Klimek (37), Cameron Slavich (39) and Nick Decker (39). The six-man team was rounded out by Spencer McCammon (40) and Zac Harker (44).

Wawasee’s low man was Cal Heinisch. The senior shot a 41. Jeffrey Moore (44), Jayce Boatwright (45), Cameron Adams (48), Kyle Weideman (50) and Trevor Haessig rounded out the scores for the Warriors.

Wawasee (13-5) will see the Eagles next Friday at Rozella Ford for the Warsaw Sectional.
