Emergency crews were on the scene of what was initially reported to StaceyPageOnline.com as a possible fatal crash at U.S. 30 and SR 19 in Etna Green. We have since learned from the Kosciusko County Coroner’s Office, however, that no deaths were reported.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department Sgt. Chad Hill adds that the accident happened at 8:06 a.m. this morning when Dale E. Watkins, 91, of Etna Green, was driving northbound on SR 19 in a 2000 silver Buick and failed to yield the right of way.

Jason Osgood, 27, of Adrian, Mich., was eastbound on U.S. 30 when the semi and the car collided. Watkins suffered minor bleeding and was transported to Kosciusko Community Hospital in fair condition. Osgood was not hurt.
