PIERCETON — Chris Cage and Coyote Underwood, disc jockeys from radio station Willie 103.5, will be helping the Animal Welfare League raise funds for their proposed new facility on June 14. The event will take place at Stonehenge Golf Course beginning at 7 a.m. Pledges are being accepted and will be collected based on the number of holes completed. A maximum of 103 is not likely to be achieved but will be in place as a cap.
Anyone interested can sign up at many area merchants, at Stonehenge, and local veterinarian offices as well as the lobby of the Animal Welfare League. Even easier, just call in a pledge to (574) 267-3008 and turn in the amount to pledge per hole, or even have it automatically deducted at the end of the event. Anyone may also make donations online.
The Animal Welfare League of Kosciusko County facebook page and Willie radio will offer continual updates during the day on progress of the two golfers. Join in the fun and, when giving a pledge, also turn in a guess for how many holes the two will turn in at the end of the day. A drawing will be held for all those making the right guess and the winner will receive dinner for two at the wonderful Cerulean Restaurant in Winona Village. Cerulean was the donor for all the food at last year’s Fur Ball and is known for their excellent cuisine.
