ARGOS — The Triton baseball team was back in action Saturday morning. The Trojans whooped up on its county rival for an 11-0 win.

Lucas Newman led the Trojans offensively with three hits and a pair of RBIs. Newman, Payton Westafer and Max Slusser all had extra base hits for the Trojans. Triton had 14 hits as a team.

Nathan Flenar went to work on the mound for the visitors as he surrendered just one hit in six innings of work, walked two and struck out seven.

Gunnar Morgan was the lone Dragon to record a hit.

Triton is now 11-12 on the season and will host Culver Academy on Monday.
