Diversity Rally Returns to Community May 22
WARSAW — Now in its third year, the Warsaw Diversity Rally returns to the Central Park Fountain Plaza Sunday, May 22, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The event’s speakers include:
- WCHS Foreign Exchange Students – What it’s like to be a foreign student in Warsaw
- Pete Tuura – The history of diversity in the state of Indiana
- Gary Proietti – Ageism
- Andy Semler – LGBT
- Steve Possell – Socioeconomic issues in Kosciusko County
- Warsaw Indian Group – Their group’s goals and mission in our community
There will also be performances by Marena Moonflower and Hans Kusserow and Gary Prioietti. There will be refreshments available to the first 100 attendees.
The rally will conclude with a celebration march around downtown Warsaw from 2:30-3 p.m. The public is welcome to attend this peaceful event that celebrates all different aspects of diversity.
