SYRACUSE – Syracuse Police Chief Jim Layne confirmed today, Tuesday, May 17, no police investigation has been started on Mike Schmidt, Wawasee High School principal, who was placed on administrative leave last week by the Wawasee Community School Corp.

“Nothing has been received by our department. We don’t know anything and no official investigation has started. Everything is going through the school,” Layne said.
