SOUTH WHITLEY — The Whitko golf team competed at the Northfield Invite Saturday afternoon.

The Wildcats shot a 364 to place third in the event, behind Mississinewa (351) and champion Northfield (325).

Whitko was paced by an 83 from Tim Gensch. Grady Clingerman shot an 88 while Cade Bechtold shot a 96. Kaleb Busz rounded out Whitko’s scores with a 97. Gensch placed seventh overall.

Whitko will host Tippecanoe Valley Monday evening.
