OSWEGO — The Kosciusko County Historical Society will be holding a fundraiser at the Pound Store Museum from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 14.

The fundraiser will include a bake sale, yard sale, a lunch and free tours. All the money collected from the fundraiser will go to support maintenance and upkeep costs for the museum.

The Pound Store Museum, located at 2932 E. Armstrong Road, Oswego, was originally built in 1838 and functioned as a fur trading post and post office until it was purchased by the Pound Family in 1889. The Pound Family opened a general store which was open, along with the post office, until 1917.

The building housed a grocery store until it was donated to the Kosciusko County Historical Society.
