
Esther M. Snyder, 79, Warsaw, died at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2016, at Grace Village where she had been a resident since July 2011.
She was born Aug. 7, 1936 in Huntington, a daughter of Harry and Emma (Rupley) Snyder. She attended Clear Creek School and graduated from Bippus High School.
Esther worked at Blue Bell in Warsaw, Peabody ABC in Winona Lake over 12 years and the American Red Cross in Warsaw for eight years.
Her memberships include Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and attended Celebration United Methodist Church in Warsaw.
Surviving relatives include a son: Brian (Robin) Snyder; a grandson: Adam (Stacy) Snyder; three great granddaughters: Kaytlin, Harley and Baylee Snyder, all of Warsaw; three brothers: Edward Snyder of Huntington; Richard Snyder of Muskegon, Mich.; and John Snyder of Leesburg; and two sisters: Virginia Doenges of South Whitley; and JoAnn Byers of Warsaw.
A brother: Paul Snyder, preceded her in death.
The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 6 at Smith & Sons Miller Chapel, South Whitley with visitation from 1-3 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. The burial will be in South Whitley Cemetery.
Preferred memorials are to Kosciusko Home Health & Hospice or Celebration United Methodist Church.
