A balanced offensive attack helped Tippecanoe Valley roll to a 3-0 volleyball victory Thursday night over Triton.

The Vikings prevailed 25-18, 25-4, 25-14 in the non-conference match.

Courtney Newsome and Kelsey Ball each had nine kills and Caylie Teel and Sara Alexander each added eight for coach Abby Turner’s squad.

Alexander led the Vikings, who improved to 7-5, with three blocks and Teel had two. Teel led the winners with four digs and Ball had a pair of aces. Kelsey Eckert had 21 assists and Tenaya Shull 15 for Valley.

Breanna Lemler had five kills and Krystal Sellers three to lead Triton. Marissa Rose had three digs and Shana Anderson two for the Trojans. Holly Stogsdill had two aces for Triton.

Valley won the JV match 25-14, 25-2.  Taylor Garringer and Stephanie Abt each had three kills for Valley. Alaina O’Connell had five digs, Maddy Henninger 14 assists and Mila Smalley and Diana Baca each had three aces.
