INDIANAPOLIS — As adults, we all know life doesn’t always go as planned.

But, try telling a 2-year-old that.

No one expected 2-year-old Grace’s reaction to news that she was getting a baby brother and not a baby sister.

Her parents broke the news to Grace and her 6-year-old sister, Giuliana, with blue-filled cupcakes. They got the entire ordeal on video, and although it was posted online about a year ago, it’s just now gone viral.

“Grace, are you excited it’s a boy?”

“I’m not,” 2-year-old Grace whines as she gingerly nibbles some icing off her cupcake.

“I’m excited for a girl,” she continued.

Finally, Grace starts to break in to her cupcake.

“Look, it’s blue!” Giuliana exclaimed, pointing to Grace’s cupcake.

“Oh, no. I wanted pink,” Grace cried. “I wanted pink. No fair.”
