Yanette M. “Bear” Fisher, 62, of Bourbon, Ind., passed away Thursday, Dec. 6, 2012, in her home of natural causes.

She was born the daughter of Harold H. and Arlene D. Davis Fisher on Sept. 1, 1950, at Tokyo, Japan. She was a resident of the Bourbon area for the past several years.

She had been a care giver for many local residents and she was also a horse farrier. She was active in the Bourbon American Legion Auxiliary with many of her closest friends and had attended the Bourbon First United Methodist Church.

As a 1969 graduate of River Valley High School at Three Oaks, Michigan she furthered her education at Brown Mackey College where she received her Associate’s degree as a medical assistant.

“Bear” is survived by her brother: Patrick Fisher, Yountville, Calif.; and many of her closest friends in the Bourbon community. She will be greatly missed by all.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother: Peter.

In honoring her wishes there will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place. She asked that all remember her smile and the good times she had.

Final interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery at Three Oaks, Mich., with her parents.
