With forecasts projecting rain and snow for today, Friday, April 8, and Saturday, April 9, schools and teams are already planning ahead. Here is a running list of the cancellations and postponements for this weekend. We will update this file as information is given.

The Triton Golf Invite at Rozella Ford Golf Course for Saturday has been cancelled. The invitational will not be made up.

The Triton at Tippecanoe Valley baseball doubleheader has been postponed. The make-up date is Friday, April 29, with a 5 p.m. start at Valley. There will be just one game.

Triton’s Saturday softball doubleheader for Saturday against Argos has been postponed until Wednesday, May 18, with a 4:30 p.m. start at Triton.

Tippecanoe Valley will add a baseball game with Bremen, making the Saturday, April 16, meeting in Akron a doubleheader.

Other Valley notes include the boys golf team will not have a match May 16 against Lakeland Christian as the academy does not have a team. The JV softball team has four games cancelled, those being April 14 at Winamac, April 20 at Manchester, April 27 at Rochester and May 13 at Peru. Valley added a game at Triton April 20.

Grace College has also checked in with delays and cancellations.

Grace track and field at Taylor for Saturday is cancelled.

Friday softball at Mt. Vernon Nazarene is postponed to April 29, a 1 p.m. first pitch. The Saturday game at Taylor is postponed to April 27, a 4 p.m. first pitch.

The home women’s golf Grace Lancer Invite for Saturday is cancelled.

Grace baseball for Saturday at Indiana Wesleyan has been moved to Monday, first pitch at 2 p.m.

Whitko’s JV game with Maconaquah for Friday has been cancelled. A make-up date was not announced.

Whitko’s baseball and softball games for Saturday at Bluffton have been cancelled. A make-up date was not announced for either contest.

Whitko has added a varsity baseball game Wednesday, April 13, at home against Goshen. First pitch is set for 5 p.m.
