INDIANAPOLIS — Have you planted blue and gold pansies yet? The Garden Club of Indiana’s bicentennial project, Blue and Gold Floral Tribute to Indiana’s Flag is resulting in colorful blooms beginning to burst forth.

Vibrant blue and gold colored crocus planted last fall are starting to bloom. They will soon be followed by daffodils, hyacinths, and tulips in our flag’s colors.

All Indiana residents and businesses can be a part of this special project. Any size planting, large or small, in ground or in containers, will show Hoosier pride. Plant pansies now and make plans to include blue and gold annuals in your garden after danger of frost.

Let’s all make an impact on visitors to our state during Indiana’s bicentennial year.
