Dye, Bradley

Bradley Allen “Brad” Dye passed away at 8:51 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2016, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne.

He was born Jan. 24, 1982 in Warsaw to Daniel and Carolyn (Jordan) Dye. He attended Leesburg Elementary and Lighthouse Christian Academy and was a lifetime Warsaw resident. For the past five years he was a corian countertop craftsman with Premier Concepts. He attended Dutchtown Brethren Church; he was skilled with his hands and could fix anything. He enjoyed watching the history channel and was very interested in and educated about outer space. He was nicknamed “River Rat” because of the time he spent on the Tippecanoe River near his home. He was a loving son and brother, but most all Brad loved his boys and the time the three of them spent together — especially being in the woods, mushroom hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his parents; his brother: Ryan (Jennica) Dye, Warsaw; two sons: Bradley Allen Dye Jr.; and Bentley Wayne Dye; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a paternal grandfather: Herbert A. Dye, III, Nov. 16, 2008; a paternal grandmother: JoAnn Dye, June 30, 1982; a paternal step grandmother: Sandra S. Dye, May 1, 2015; maternal grandfather: Bobby N. Jordan, Dec. 12, 1976; and a maternal grandmother: Patty L. Shafer, Feb. 4, 2013.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. Friday, March 25 at Titus Funeral Home, 2000 E. Sheridan St. Warsaw. The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 26 at Titus Funeral Home. Pastor Jack Worth of Dutchtown Brethren Church will be officiating.
