WINONA LAKE – Grace baseball ace Blake Converset picked up his second Crossroads League Pitcher of the Week.

Converset helped Grace to a win over Rio Grande, who was No. 25 in the NAIA Preseason Poll. The junior handcuffed the Red Storm to two hits and one run in seven innings, earning four strikeouts in the process.

Converset has posted a 2.05 ERA in six outings this season. He has walked just four batters in 44.0 innings.

The Lancers travel to Goshen on Thursday for Grace’s Crossroads League opener. Grace will then host Goshen on Saturday at 2 p.m.
