Thomas “Tom” Edward Nolin, 69, Argos, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday, March 20, 2016, at his residence following a lengthy illness.
Tom was born on Oct. 6, 1946, in Plymouth, to James E. Nolin and Bessie L. (Ronk) Nolin. Tom had lived most of his life in the Argos community. He was a truck drive and he was a Board Member for the Marshall County Blueberry Festival. Tom was also a Fireman and EMT in Argos with the Argos Fire Department for 46 years and the Argos EMS for 20 years, as well as involved with Indiana Tractor Pullers Association. He attended Argos High School.
Tom is survived by his daughter: Kellie (Terry) Shei, Argos; grandchildren: Alicia (Adam) Nunamaker; Patric Shei; great-grandson: Hunter Thomas Nunamaker; sisters: Malinda (John) Wakeland, Plymouth; Sandra (friend Don Mort) Heyde, Bremen; and Tommie Jean Ripper, Sandwich, Ill.; and brothers: Jim (Betty) Nolin, Argos; and Jerry (Jane) Nolin, Warsaw. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew: Kenneth Clark.
Friends may visit with the family from 3-8 p.m. Wednesday March 23, at Argos United Methodist Church, Argos. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday March 24, at the church with Rev. Robert E. Rice Jr. and Rev. Heather Foley. Burial will follow at the Maple Grove Cemetery, Argos, with honor services conducted by the Argos Fire Department. Earl-Grossman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
