Officers with the North Webster Police Department investigated the following accident:

5:02 p.m. Friday, March 18, North SR 13 and East Backwater Road, North Webster. Driver: Albert J. Rider, 85, East Backwater Road, North Webster. Rider’s vehicle veered off the road and into a field. A passenger in Rider’s vehicle, Alice E Rider, 83, East Backwater Road, North Webster, complained of back pain at the scene. Damage up to $5,000.

Pierceton

Officers with the Pierceton Police Department investigated the following accident:

5:34 a.m. Thursday, March 17, East US 30 west of East CR 650, Pierceton. Driver: David Silva, 58, North Armstrong Drive, Columbia City. Silva fell asleep while driving and his vehicle hit a guardrail in the median. Damage up to $5,000.

Warsaw

Officers with the Warsaw Police Department investigated the following accident:

11:40 a.m. Thursday, March 17, Lake City Highway and Meijer Drive, Warsaw. Drivers: Emily I. Ditto, 17, Institute Street, Valparaiso, and Donald D. Knapp, 72, Lynnewood Avenue, South Bend. Ditto’s vehicle rear-ended Knapp’s vehicle at the red light. Knapp complained of back pain at the scene. Damage up to $10,000.
