FRANKLIN TOWNSHIP— Joseph Secrist has been elected to the Franklin Township Advisory Board following a Franklin Township Republican Caucus on March 16. He was elected to fill the unexpired tern of Paul Haist, who submitted his resignation.

“I just think that people should serve the community,” Secrist said, when asked why he sought the position. “It’s a great way to be involved in the community and whats going on around you.”

Secrist lives in Mentone with his wife Lisa and two children, Christopher and Megan. He has lived in the area all his life.

He owns and operates Niff-Tone Distributors, a metal roofing and siding company also located in Mentone.
