NORTHERN INDIANA — The National Weather Service in Northern Indiana has issued a wind advisory for Kosciusko, Whitley, Allen, Fulton, Elkhart, Marshall, St. Joseph, LaGrange, Wabash and surrounding counties.

 The advisory is in effect from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 16.

Southwest winds are expected at up to 30 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 miles per hour.

Strong winds can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles. Drivers are reminded to use extra caution. Scattered tree or power line damage is possible.
