Kathryn L. “Katy” Bowser, 27, of North Webster, passed away at 5 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born on April 22, 1988, in Goshen to Terry L. and Eva Jo (McKnight) Bowser.

She was a lifetime North Webster/Syracuse area resident and attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse. She had recently become engaged to Dwayne Allen Cooper Jr. who survives. She was employed at Tri State Maintenance in Warsaw.

She formerly attended the United Methodist Church in North Webster.

She is survived by two daughters: Brynn Zollinger and Kendra Renea Cooper. Fiancé: Dwayne Cooper, North Webster. Her father and stepmother, Terry and Patricia Bowser, Warsaw. Her mother and stepfather, Eva Jo and John Blackburn, Warsaw; two sisters: Erica Ponko, Winona Lake; Lindsey Bowser, Syracuse; brother: Joshua (Crystal Pamer) Bowser, Milford; half brother: Jason Bowser, Wilton Manors, Fla.; four stepsisters: Mary Jean Blackburn, Elkhart; Kristina Huffer, Cromwell; Jayme Evett, Warsaw; and Samantha Evett, Warsaw; two stepbrothers: John Adam Blackburn, Elkhart; and Zachary Evett, Cromwell; stepgrandfather: John Blackburn, Goshen; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins are also surviving.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Kadence Marie Cooper and brother: Andrew Bowser.

Visitation will be from 2–6 p.m. Sunday, March 13, at Owen Family Funeral Home, SR 13 and CR 500N, North Webster. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 14, at the funeral home with Pastor Byron Kaiser of the church officiating. Burial will follow in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
