PIERCETON — Fire crews are still at the scene of a four-vehicle accident. Police are reporting the westbound lane of US 30, east of SR 13 will be closed for a substantial amount of time.
An initial report by the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department are three individuals were injured, none critical. One semitractor involved, a tanker, was reportedly empty when the accident occurred.
Lutheran EMS, Pierceton, North Webster and Warsaw Fire Departments responded.
Two people were injured in the accident, and smoke from the vehicle fire could be seen from Center Street and Lake City Highway in Warsaw.

Feb. 5 — Felicia Laviel Hudson, 41, 404 N. Parker St. 6, Warsaw, was booked for domestic battery and intimidation. Bond: $5,250 surety and cash.
Feb. 5 — Joshua Cone, Jr., 37, 5573 N. Warsaw Oswego Road, Warsaw, was booked for possession of paraphernalia and failure to stop after an accident. Bond: $600 cash.
Feb. 5 — Shawn Lee Jefferson, 40, 1840 S. 500 E., Pierceton, was booked for criminal confinement, body attachment, and failure to appear. Bond: $24,737.40 surety and cash.
Feb. 5 — Dustin Wayne Hecht, 37, Warsaw, was booked for failure to appear. No bond listed.
Feb. 5 — Erin Morgan Connolly, 21, 8080 US 127, Selina, Ohio, was booked for failure to appear. Bond: $183.50 cash.
Feb. 5 — Nick Charles Hunsberger II, 27, 2527 W. 1250 N., Milford, was booked for burglary. Bond: $15, 250 surety and cash.
