LEESBURG — Leesburg Elementary School is proud to announce the “Champions of the Month” for February 2016. These students showed exemplary behavior in and out of the classroom. They learn like a champion, listen like a champion and work hard like a champion. They are respectful, responsible and safe.

The August champions are:

• Kindergarten: Deakyn Gilstrap, Bella Haywood, Anaya Villa and Xitlaly Xique
• First grade: Stephen Amburgey, Kenny Graff and Parker Sweet
• Second grade: Melanie Garza, Ava Graham, Micah McGriff and Arianna Patrick
• Third grade: Kaileb Buchan, Miguel Juarez and Lillian Teel
• Fourth grade: Layla Barker, Lucio Roblero and Maelynn Smith
• Fifth grade: Hallie Bledsoe and Brock Fraley
• Sixth Grade: Brooklyn Gilstrap, Reggan Meadows and Ivan Rico.
