SYRACUSE — Turkey Creek Fire and EMS responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on Defreese Road in Syracuse at 10:53 a.m. this morning. Initial reports indicated that the driver was still inside of the running vehicle.

The driver of the vehicle, Cynthia L. Tomblin, 49, Syracuse, had to be extricated from the vehicle, and was transported by Lutheran Air to Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Tomblin complained of abdomen pain.

REMC was also on scene to assist with the downed power lines cause by the accident.

Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene of the accident.
