RICHMOND – It was a fine open to the derby season for Warsaw’s Bone City Rollers. The team opened against the Dire Skates and came away with a 134-114 bout win Saturday night.

In a back-and-forth affair, Bone City made its mark with only 70 percent of a full roster (10/14) but were able to use the jamming of Kaos (Kassy Klinefelter) and the blocking of AK Rolling 7 (Casey Rinker) to earn its first win of the season. Rinker and Klinefelter were named MVPs of the bout for their respective work.

The Rollers will have some time to recover from the physical matchup with a couple months until its next bout, scheduled for Saturday, May 21, at Hansen’s Eastlake Skate Center against Floral City.
