Mrs. Dolores Catherine Czichilski, 85, Rochester, passed away at 9:05 a.m. Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at Woodlawn Hospital.

On April 12, 1930, Dolores was born in Chicago to David and Helen Burdjinski Bolin. Dolores and Robert Ewald Czichilski were married on April 10, 1948 in Chicago.

Dolores was a homemaker and cherished the time with her family. Painting, using acrylics as her medium was a favorite pastime, but she also had a talent for drawing portraits and landscapes. As an avid gardener her flower beds were beautiful. Dolores spent many hours reading and studying her Bible.

Dolores is survived by a daughter: Paula Manzo, Anaheim, Calif.; son: David Czichilski, Rochester; seven grandchildren: Vicki Rivera; Kimberly Irwin; Melissa Manzo; Anthony Manzo; Kristopher Czichiski; Michael Czichiski; Rachael Ann Czichiski; 14 great-grandchildren; and two canine companions: Molly, a black lab; and Snickers, a custom terrier mix. Preceding Dolores in death are her parents; husband; and a daughter: Sharon Lee Czichilski, in 2011.

Private family service will be held Wednesday, March 2, in the Good Family Funeral Home, Rochester with Chaplain Jason See officiating.
